Logged it wrong? Fix it.

Forgot to set the right supervisor? Session ran longer than the timer caught? Weather changed mid-drive? Tap any session, hit Edit, and fix it. Moda doesn't lock you out of your own data.

What you can change

Everything that matters. Date and time. Duration—set hours from 0 to 8 and minutes from 0 to 59. Distance driven. Supervisor. Weather condition. Road type: local, highway, or mixed. Time category override if the auto-detection got it wrong. And skills practiced.

One rule: duration has to be more than 0 minutes. You can't log an empty session. Everything else is fair game.

20 skills across 5 categories

Each session can track which skills you practiced. Moda has 20 skills organized into 5 categories. They show up as toggleable chips in the editor—tap to add, tap again to remove. Parking, highway merging, night driving, bad weather handling, and more. Your skill coverage builds over time and shows up in your progress dashboard.

Instructor auto-verification

If you assign an instructor-type supervisor to a session, Moda automatically marks it as verified. No extra step. Instructor sessions carry more weight in states that require certified instruction hours, and Moda tracks them separately from parent-supervised sessions.

Integrity stays intact

Every edit generates a new HMAC-SHA256 signature. The session's integrity is re-computed from the updated data, so the tamper-prevention chain stays unbroken. Edit a session 10 times? 10 new signatures. The latest one is what the server verifies on sync.

Edited sessions are marked as unsynced until the next cloud sync pushes them. If you're offline, they'll sync whenever you're back online. No edits are lost.

Changes show up everywhere

The moment you save an edit, your dashboard updates. Progress rings recalculate. Total hours adjust. Night hours, highway hours, weather hours—all recomputed. If editing a session pushes you past a milestone, you'll see it right away. No refresh button. No delay.
